Electronic Media Consultants Ltd (EMCL) was founded four years ago by Colin Mackenzie. Colin is the consultant/director of EMCL and has been performing a mixture of system design, consultancy and development tasks for organisations involved in document computing or who utilise XML technologies for e-Government, e-commerce and information exchange.

Colin has extensive experience in the field of commercial publishing, corporate publishing (technical publications), newspaper and desktop publishing. Recently, Colin has been working on a number of Government and Local Government intiatives and sits on the Government Schema Group. One of his main strengths is the ability to communicate easily with both technical and non-technical staff.

EMCL work with the customer and a number of affiliated consultants and developers to create innovative solutions, designing and developing projects that start as a set of ill-defined complex requirements.
